SIDESHOW SILENT ART AUCTION ARTISTS

Adam Miller is known for his contemporary figure paintings. Born in 1979 in Oregon, He began an apprenticeship to artist Allen Jones at thirteen years old and at Sixteen, was accepted to the prestigious Florence Academy Of Art in Florence, Italy where he underwent an extensive training in classical painting techniques and studied the masterpieces of the Renaissance firsthand. For the next four years Miller traveled throughout Europe studying the masters. His work has been commissioned by Robert Pamplin Jr., the Chairman of the Board of the Portland Art Museum, Mike Tyson, and Eric Rhodes, publisher of Fine Art Connoiseur. Miller has exhibited in both the U.S and Europe.

Adam participated in the Sideshow Silent Art Auction benefit for Mister ArtSee in 2010. His paintings “Anticipation” and “Artemis Tryptich” were featured in the show. More of Adam’s work can be found at www.adammillerart.com

Ryder Cooley is an interdisciplinary artist, musician and performer. Weaving together chimeric images with found props and forgotten objects, she creates cinematic performances and installation spaces. In 1993 Ryder Cooley received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in Sculpture. She then migrated to San Francisco and became an active member of the local art and music scenes. She completed a Masters Degree in Combined Media at SUNY, Albany in 2006 and an MFA in Integrated Electronic Arts at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2008.

Maxine Nienow was born and raised in Mexico. She studied Fine Arts in Paris and obtained a BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design in New York. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in New York, Miami and the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia. With a strong interest in human behavior and anthropology her images explore the relation of her subjects and their environment.
