What GPA do you need to get into UNG?
For the 2021 application cycle, UNG will be using a GPA only admissions model and will consider applicants who have at least a 2.8 GPA in the Required High School Curriculum for admission. Those who have a Required High School Curriculum GPA of at least 2.4 and meet USG test score minimums will also be considered.

Non-refundable application fee of $40 is required for all applications. Please allow three business days after submitting your application for processing. You will receive an email from [email protected] after your application has been reviewed for accuracy and updated with submitted documents.

How long does it take to get accepted to UNG?
Admission decision processing varies by program. Many programs will have a decision within 3-4 weeks. Cohort programs will review all applications after the application deadline.
Do freshmen have to live on campus at UNG?
Please note that per UNG’s Residence Policy, students who are freshmen and sophomores are required to live on campus. Students who believe that they have a unique hardship may request a waiver to the Residence Policy through the Dean of Students Office. Please note that housing contracts are binding once completed.
Does UNG have dorms?
Join the UNG family and stay in one of our six residence halls along with fellow classmates. We offer traditional, suite, and apartment housing. Residency is only offered at the Dahlonega Campus.
