What happens when you wear a waist trainer too much?
Better posture Wearing a waist trainer may encourage good posture while you’re wearing it. If you wear it too much, though, it may weaken your core muscles, leading to back pain and poor posture.
Can a waist trainer cause damage?
It may provide some temporary waist thinning, but it ultimately does not provide a safe, long-term solution to weight or fat loss. Long-term use of waist trainers can lead to organ damage. It can also lead to digestive issues, such as acid reflux. Waist training also makes breathing difficult.

Do corsets make your waist smaller permanently?
Corsets are not designed to permanently reduce the waist size, only when the corset is being worn should the waist appear smaller.
Does waist trainer give curves?
According to the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS) blog, a waist trainer will not drastically change your body shape. Even if you have the type of body that lends itself to that shape temporarily, your waist trainer is unlikely to have a lasting effect.
How long does a waist trainer last?
We don’t recommend that you wear your waist trainer more than the maximum of twelve hours each day. This gives your skin more opportunity to breathe and your torso the opportunity to relax. If you’re using a workout band for waist training, we don’t recommend wearing it for more than about three or four hours.
