Is AirTies a mesh network?

An AirTies home pack contains three such devices, already set up in a mesh network with each other. This mesh network allows the devices to act as one for you as a user, while spreading coverage throughout your home and distributing wireless data traffic.

How do you mesh AirTies?

To add one or more wireless access points to the mesh network:

1. Remove the plastic covering the device.
2. Connect the access point to power and turn it on.
3. Press the WPS button of one of the already meshed devices for 2 seconds.
4. Press the WPS button on the new device for 2 seconds.

Green light, strong-signal mesh: no action required. Red light, low-signal mesh: Move the device closer to another device in the mesh network.

Why is my AirTies 5GHz red?

My AirTies access points’ 5GHz LED remains red: Group the AirTies access points closer together; having a stronger link between the access points is more beneficial than having a strong signal on the client while the mesh performance suffers. The 5GHz band transmits on a much higher frequency than older 2.4GHz devices.
