What is a Helibeam?

The Helibeam System comprises the installation of horizontal bed-joint reinforcement into masonry that has cracked and failed due to ground movement, component failure, weathering or increased loads and stresses. It works by tying the masonry together to create deep masonry beams which distribute structural loads.

What are Helibars used for?

HeliBar is a helical stainless steel reinforcing bar, with substantial tensile properties, used for strengthening and stabilising masonry in both new build and remedial situations.

What is crack stitching?

Crack stitching is a permanent structural repair for cracked masonary and wall reinforcement. Simple and effective, our crack stitching repair process involves rods that are grouted across cracks in walls in oreder to reconnect and strengthen masonry.

How do you mix HeliBond?

Mix the contents of a “Pack Set” (1 Powder and 1 Liquid pack) of HeliBond by adding the powder to the liquid in the pail provided. Stir thoroughly using a powered paddle mixer. Do not attempt to mix by hand as this is likely to lead to erratic results.

Are HeliBars worth it?

I love my Helibars. The only way they really affected handling is that they force you to sit just a little more upright when you’re arms are kept straight. It is hardly noticeable though and the trade off for not having sore wrists after a long session of riding is worth it for me.

Does crack stitching work?

Crack stitching is reliable and can be completed quicker than rebuilding the existing brick or stonework. If you have a cracked wall and are thinking about crack stitching as a repair method, it would be a good value for money solution.

Are step cracks serious?

Are step cracks serious? Stair-step cracks along mortar joints or through the actual brick are almost always a serious matter—especially if the wall is bulging or if the cracks are larger than ¼ an inch.
