Can you overclock a GT 640?
The GT 640 proved to be a decent overclocker, being able to be pushed from an already non-reference frequency of 930MHz to 1101MHz. We will see, however, in the upcoming tests that the effect of this overclock is somewhat hampered by the cut down shader count, the use of slower DDR3, and a 128-bit bus.
Does GT 630 need power?
The GPU is operating at a frequency of 810 MHz, memory is running at 900 MHz. Being a single-slot card, the NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 65 W maximum.

How much overclocking is safe?
Try overclocking GPU memory by 10%, or by 50 to 100 MHz. Anything below 10% should still give stable performance. If your computer crashes or if your games start malfunctioning, your hardware may not be designed for overlocking at all — or you may need to increase your computer’s temperature limit.
Can You overclock a 9500gt in SLI?
Overclocking does not allow you to change those limits. What’s likely happened is whatever games you’re playing are coded to recognize certain cards and their capabilities and lock settings accordingly. I remember my first ever rig had 2 9500GT’s in SLI, and if i recall correctly, Far Cry 2 wouldn’t set shadows above medium, no matter what.
Is there a GPU Tweak that supports overclocking?
IF ASUS GPU TWEAK can support overvolting, don’t be afraid to start doing that too to reach even higher clocks. You won’t “Fry” your card, just increase its heat output.
How many CUDA Cores do you have on your gt630?
Like GTA IV, 20FPS (High texture quality and 1280×720) before and 32FPS after with same settings, my GT630 have 48 CUDA cores… I desire to make this clock settings (1.01GHz and 733MHz) permanent, but haven’t bios editor to this board… Some tip for I do that?! I think I can incrase more the frequency if I incrase more the voltage too…
