I always used Cooper St’s on my 80 series with no problems or any punctures then fitted 285/70-17 to my 200 series. As usual the handling was terrific both on and off road and they are the best for beach driving. I let the tyres down to 18psi for beach use and this in turn is causing the sidewalls to split right where the sidewall and tread join.
