What are QuickMarks in Turnitin?
QuickMarks allow your instructor to create a library of feedback that might be applicable, on multiple occasions, to multiple students, across multiple classes and assignments. A QuickMark may be a word or phrase, or may even be an abbreviation.
What is a QuickMark?
A QuickMark set, is a set of commonly used marking terms that you can use to help you mark assignments. Turnitin provide us with a few default marking sets (e.g. Commonly used, Formatting or Composition marks). In some cases, these sets are sufficient when marking.
Do teachers mark on Turnitin?
Students can submit work to Turnitin assignments created by teachers. Turnitin then check the submission against a repository of journals, publications and internet pages in order to detect matching text. Teachers mark submitted assignments and students access their grades and feedback via Feedback Studio.
How do I save feedback on Turnitin?
To print your Turnitin Instructor Feedback report:
- Open the Turnitin document viewer.
- Ensure that Instructor Feedback is selected on the right panel.
- Click the download icon on the right panel.
- Select Current View.
- A pop-up window opens and prompts you to Open or Save your file.
What is Turnitin feedback studio?
Feedback Studio is a paperless grading system that is integrated with Blackboard. It is offered by Turnitin, the plagiarism detection software product used at JHU. With its drag and drop functionality, Feedback Studio can save instructors a lot of time when grading online assignments.
How do I check my Turnitin originality report?
Interpreting the Similarity Report
- Blue: No matching text.
- Green: One word to 24% matching text.
- Yellow: 25-49% matching text.
- Orange: 50-74% matching text.
- Red: 75-100% matching text.
