Kramer grew up to be a storyteller, too, a fixture here for 40 years on radio and TV, best known for his “About San Diego” segments on local places, history and personalities. Retired now (sort of), he was inducted into the KPBS Hall of Fame last week. The City Council proclaimed Feb. 9 “Ken Kramer Day” in San Diego.
