So a Khorne Berzerker has 2 attacks, a champion has 3. If you use the World Eaters Legion Trait they can get 3 and 4 respectively. By adding a chainsword your berzerkers have 1 additional attack with THAT weapon. So a champion would have 3 chain axe attacks and 1 chainsword attack.
