Why can’t I see new builds in the Insider Preview?
Make sure you’ve installed all the latest Windows Updates. If you are running a Core Edition of the Insider Preview, you must install KB3070677 before Windows will detect new preview builds.
Can You Exit The Insider Program and go back to beta?
However unlike Beta once you’re in Dev you can’t exit the Insider Program or go back down to Beta Channel or the Release Preview Channel unless you do a Windows 10 clean install. You can go Release Preview to/or Beta and/or to Dev, but you can’t go from Dev to Beta or Release Preview.
How long does it take for insider preview to update?
(This option can be found under Settings > Update & Recovery > Advanced options.) If you switch that setting from Slow to Fast or back again, it can take up to 30 minutes before that setting results in a new build being offered. If you have just installed Insider Preview from media, then it may take up to 24 hours to receive the next build.
