Do you need your own pony for Pony Club camp?
Anyone under the age of 25 can join as long as you wish to learn more about riding and horse care. You’ll also need a lot of enthusiasm and a great love for horses! You don’t even need to own your own pony to be part of The Pony Club.
Are Hackamores allowed in Pony Club?
A. Not all types are allowed at Pony Club rallies and events. Hackamores are not allowed nor are running gags, double bridles or Dr Bristle bits.

What does Pony Club camp do?
Activities include cross country practice, flat work, jumping, practical and theoretical stable management, Pony Club achievement badge sessions, evening events and demonstrations etc, leaving Somerford Park Farm by 4pm on the Sunday afternoon. We have a very busy schedule but there is time to relax too.
Are shadow rolls allowed at Pony Club?
Shadow rolls are not permitted. Blinkers, standing martingales, Market Harborough’s, running reins, draw reins, hackamores and bosals are not permitted.
