9th – 12th grade
High school Junior ROTC program is open to any 9th – 12th grade student who desires to develop their leadership and citizenship skills. There is no military obligation for joining JROTC.

There Is No Military Obligation for JROTC Cadets Students who participate in JROTC are not required to join the military after high school, and the program is not a military preparation class.

When is the Jacksonville High School Veterans Day celebration?
The district will host its Annual Veterans Day Celebration on Thursday, November 11 at 4:30 pm inside the Jacksonville High School cafeteria. Guests are encouraged to wear patriotic or military attire. Guests need to park in the parking lot behind Jacksonville High School.
