What is a tab tensioned screen?
The Spectrum Tab-Tension Series 2 is part of Elite Screens CE-Retail line of electric projection screens. It’s tab-tension reinforced CineWhite® UHD-B material provides enhanced material flatness. This feature allows ultra/short throw projectors to reflect a flat ripple-free image.
How does a motorized screen work?
The answer is fairly simple. The fabric or mesh of a retractable screen coils around a roller encased in a protective cover known as the housing. Depending on whether you choose a manually operated or motorized version, your retractable screen will be powered by a spring inside the housing or an electric motor.
How do tab tensions work?
Tab-tensioned screens use tabs or wires to keep the screen flat and taut. Tab-tensioned screens are stored and rolled in a headbox, but it’s still kept quite rigid thanks to the tension from the tab system. Tab-tensioned screens offer the most versatility when it comes to user experience.
