Are Hexanon lenses good?
And once I did, I realised the 50mm Hexanon is plenty good enough for what I want to do. Actually, it’s more than good enough. I enjoyed shooting with it noticeably more than with some of my other vintage lenses. This probably goes back to the build quality and image quality.

Are Konica lenses good?
The Konica’s were (and still are) a great value with very nice optics. I happily shot with an OM-D and 57/1.2, as well as later, 55mm filter versions of the 50/1.4, 135/3.5 and 200/4. The OM-D 5-axis IBIS was a revelation with adapted lenses, and I really enjoyed that kit.

Is the Konica Hexanon 50mm worth it?
The Konica Hexanon 50mm F1.2 M Lens has excellent build quality. It is made from all solid metal construction with a bronze brass finish. It feels nice in the hands for a lens made in Japan but not as well as some lenses made by Leica Germany.
Can the Konica M-Hexanon lenses be used on Leica M cameras?

This Konica lens is more than capable of creating fantastic images. If you’re counting pixels, its performance is inferior to LEICA 28mm lenses. When new, it sold for much less than LEICA lenses, but today, its used price has climbed to about the same as real LEICA lenses.
