Add a few drops of saline into the nostrils before aspirating if the mucus in the baby’s nose is particularly dry or sticky. Repeat one to four times per day, as needed. We recommend that the nose be cleaned upon awakening, before bed and prior to eating.

Wipe away extra mucus with a soft cloth or a tissue. Use a sterilized rubber bulb to gently suction out extra mucus (more on this below). Use a saline spray to help loosen dried snot and clear it out of the nostrils. Use a cool-mist humidifier in baby’s room to keep the air moist.

When permissible use a microwave periodically to disinfect devices. Always store NeilMed ® products in a cool and dry place with adequate ventilation.
