Can you use t18 with 10 volume?
You can but I won’t do much. I just re bleached my hair after using drugstore colo rista bleach which was 30v turned my hair orange from a dark brown. I re bleached it with ion lighting powder and ion 20v developer for the max time 50 mins and then toned it with the Wella t18 for 30 minutes.
Does Wella toner damage your hair?
t14, t18, etc are highlift toners – they are used with double volume (wella suggests double 20) and both lift the hair and deposit. A traditional toner is used with low volume, no-lift developers (3 or 5 volume). The former can absolutely cause damage, especially to previously colored, lightened hair.
Should I wash my hair after using Wella toner?
Once Toner is applied. you can follow below process. Once 20–30 minutes pass after applying, you can wash your hair. Do not use shampoo. No matter how much you want to, don’t use shampoo. No type of shampoo. Because if you use shampoo, the color of the toner will fade before it has penetrated into the hair fibers.
How to use Wella toners?
Wash your hair no more than twice a week with a sulfate-free shampoo. This will prevent your toner from fading too quickly.
