Are Souris River Canoes good?
We believe that we build the best composite canoes on the market. There are many reasons to choose a Souris River: We use epoxy resin, which is many times stronger than the polyester and vinylester resins used by our competitors. Our canoes are designed with wilderness tripping in mind.

How durable is a Kevlar canoe?
When left to harden and cure, the result is a stiff and lightweight canoe that is very strong. Kevlar fibers are stiffer and lighter than fiberglass with higher tensile strength. This means that Kevlar canoes tend to be stronger than fiberglass, and about 25% lighter.
