How do I connect my Contour Next Link to my computer?
If you are using a Contour Next or Contour Next One meter you will need a Micro USB cable to connect the meter to your computer. If you have a Contour USB, Contour Next USB, or a Contour Next Link, those meters have a built-in USB connection, which means you can connect them directly to your computer’s USB ports.

How do you use Contour Next Link?
Testing in 3 easy steps*
- Insert the grey end of a CONTOUR™NEXT test strip into the meter. The meter will turn on.
- When the Apply Blood screen appears, touch the test strip to the drop of blood. Hold it there until the meter beeps.
- Your test result will appear after a 5 second countdown.
How do I upload a Medtronic 630G?
Upload a MiniMed™ 630G Insulin Pump or MiniMed™ 670G Insulin Pump
- Choose MiniMed™ pump to begin the upload.
- Click MiniMed™ 600 series.
- Insert your black CareLink™ USB device or Contour Next Link 2.4 meter into the USB port of your computer.
- Select the time range for the data upload.
Is Contour Next rechargeable?
Your CONTOUR®NEXT USB meter has a rechargeable battery. You must charge your meter by plugging it into the USB port or wall charger. After one minute of charging, you can run one blood glucose test if needed.
What does Contour next measure?
The Contour next system is intended for the quantitative measurement of glucose (from 0.6 mmol/L to 33.3 mmol/L) in fresh capillary whole blood samples drawn from the fingertip or palm. Venous whole blood samples may also be used by health care professionals.

The Contour®NEXT LINK 2.4 meter is the only meter that communicates wirelessly with your MiniMed 630G insulin pump. This allows you to automatically send your glucose readings to your pump, give remote boluses, and upload your pump and meter information to CareLink® software.
Is there an app for Contour next?
The CONTOUR™DIABETES app is a cloud-enabled mobile application that operates on portable devices such as a smart phone or tablet running the Apple iOS or the Android operating system. The app uses Bluetooth Low Energy wireless technology to sync with the CONTOUR®NEXT ONE meter for seamless blood sugar monitoring.
What is the difference between contour next and contour next one?
The Contour NEXT ONE is sleeker than previous Contour models, and it continues with some of the popular features of the Contour NEXT, including the reapplication of blood to the same test strip.
