Can you surf at Bellows beach?
Bellows Field Beach Park is fronted by a long, wide, sand beach. A shallow sandbar off the beach provide good waves for bodysurfing and bodyboarding.
Can anyone go to Bellows beach?
There are two parts of the beach here: the public side and the military side. The public side is only open on the weekends. The military side is open all week. To get to the military side you have to go through the Bellows Air Force Station Gate with your ID card.
Is Bellows beach good for snorkeling?
Bellows Field Beach Park usually provides calm water conditions unless the ocean waves are large. This is a great beach for a long walk along beautiful Waimanalo Bay or just relaxing on the white sand beach, though it is not such a great beach for snorkeling.
Can you fish at Bellows Beach?
NO digging, except at the beach shoreline, without review by Bellows Environmental Program. NO feeding or hunting feral animals. NO pets (Service Animals allowed with lawful inquiry.) Fishing allowed in designated fishing area(s) only.

Are dogs allowed at Bellows campground?
NO PETS (DOGS) ALLOWED ON ANY HAWAII STATE CAMPGROUNDS! So if you have a dog in Hawaii, you cannot bring your loved one(s) camping anywhere.
Is Bellows AFB open to public?
Bellows Air Force Station cabin and condo reservations are available to all eligible patrons. Patrons traveling to Hawai`i to stay at Bellows AFS MUST register their information with the Safe Travels Program at https://travel.hawaii.gov/.
Can I get onto any military base with a CAC?
This card — known as a CAC card — gets you exclusive access to your base and restricted areas on various military installations. It’s as important as your driver’s license or social security card, so making sure it’s on you at all times is a must.
Do you need a permit to camp at Bellows?
Campers must remain in their designated camping area during those hours. A printed permit is required to camp in this park. All fees are non-refundable.
