How long do you cook Hodo tofu?
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Slice the tofu blocks about pieces 1/4 of an inch thick (see picture for reference) and place into an oven-safe dish.
- Mix the oil and tamari in a bowl and taste it.
- Baked for 20 minutes, or until they reach your desired crispness.
- Remove from the oven and enjoy!

Can Yuba be frozen?
Yes, you can freeze raw yuba. Frozen yuba might lose some of its flavor and aroma, so if you could get fresh raw yuba, I would recommend you to eat them all within few days (3-4 days). You should enjoy the fresh flavor of soybeans and its soft texture.
How long does Hodo tofu last?
You can find the expiration date printed directly on the air-tight plastic bag. Typically most of the products have at least 30 days of shelf life at the time of purchase. Once opened, you should consume our products within 3 days.
Can you eat Hodo tofu raw?
All of our products are fully cooked so you can eat them cold right out of the package if you want.
Can you freeze Hodo tofu?
Any of our products can be frozen if unopened; note that when you thaw them out, the texture will change some. This texture change is most noticeable in our Organic Firm Tofu and our Cubes, which become more coarse in texture. You can use this for crumbling in scrambles, using as ground protein, or cubed in soups.
Is nasoya tofu good?
Good quality, firm tofu. Great for salads and grilling. It’s flavorless, so you really need to work with it to get taste in. But that’s what I like about tofu, the versatility of spices and ingredients you can use with it.
Is yuba the same as bean curd?
Tofu skin or yuba is a thin layer that’s formed at the top when simmering fresh soymilk. Other names include beancurd skin, beancurd sheet, which literally comes from this thin layer but is formed into different shapes. This layer is very delicate and versatile in many uses.
How can you tell if tofu is bad?
Tofu which is past its best will tend to darken in color to a tan or even brown shade. You may also see signs of spoilage on the surface of the tofu, such as mold or discoloration. Also, when tofu has gone bad it usually develops a sour or rotten smell, whereas fresh tofu doesn’t smell much of anything at all.

What are Morrocan tofu cubes?
They are Organic Morrocan Tofu cubes that come in 3 separate packs which is equal to about 3 meals. I don’t eat Tofu very often (hint: I’m not vegetarian so take this with a grain of salt) but they did seem a little bland.
