The absolute best strategy to defeat all pets, if you don’t have a large roster or are new to pet battles, is to use an entire team of level one pets, as these pet world quests scale with your pet’s level. When the pet is scaled to your level at level one, it loses most of its abilities and difficulty.

If Direflame is extinguished then you can do the normal combo of Crouch/Howl/Diseased Bite if your pup has enough health to survive 2 attacks (if not then Howl and Bite only). Depending on RNG the Fel Pup is either a sacrifice to kill the Direflame or will take out the second pet as well.

Easily defeated Defiled Earth using Zandalari Anklerender set 2/2/2, Fel Pup set 2/1/1 and Emerald Protowhelp set 2/1/2. Zandalari’s moves against Defiled Earth are Primal Cry, Black Claw then Hunting Party. Depending on RNG you will either smelt Defiled or the Zandalari will get rendered with Defiled almost mined out.

The Tanaan Jungle which was added in patch 6.2 brings with it 15 new pet battles: The Tiny Terrors of Tanaan! These pets are similar to the Beasts of Fable, yet have different mechanics with them. Instead of being very strong on their own they bring some colleagues from the area around them, just like any other pet battle out in the wild.
