We’d suggest that you head to Nar Shadaa, because it gives you the quickest path to earning the parts you need to build your lightsaber. You can get a component from an NPC called Lootra if you reunite him with his wife. To speed things up even more, kill him the first time you meet him.

I’d recommend Korriban first. Orange Crystal guaranteed, Lens and Emitter sorted after doing the tomb and academy, and just to make the deal even sweeter, you get a free, complete Lightsaber after defeating Visas. Seriously, don’t go to Nar Shaddaa. Korriban’s where it’s at for early Lightsaber use.
How do I gain dark side points in Nar Shaddaa?
In the northeast section of Nar Shaddaa there are two more thugs shaking down a citizen. You can use force persuade to convince one of them to jump off the nearby ledge. This will gain you some dark side points. After killing the other thug the handmaiden will interject with her thoughts on helping people.
