Are Vionic slippers heavy?

I rated these as true to size but note that Vionic recommends if you wear a half size that you go down not up. Contrary to some other comments: these shoes are not incredibly heavy. If you have normal legs they feel like normal shoes! They are not inflexible, they are a dense sole but not awkwardly so.
