What are folders in Reaper?

Reaper’s folder tracks are an interesting alternative to traditional busses. They simultaneously submix channels together (in the same way as a bus) and group those tracks visually in a parent/child arrangement. To set up a track folder, create a new track and position it immediately above the tracks you want to group.

Where are Reaper files saved?

If you started recording takes before you saved the project, for example, those early recordings will be in Reaper’s default recording path (usually in your Home folder, under Documents\Reaper Media).
