How are scattergun sights made?
Scattergun uses an 18-inch barrel chambered for three-inch shells and a choked cylinder for the TR-870. After the sight installation parts are stripped, they’re bead blasted, washed in a solvent, and then the steel parts are parkerized. Scattergun then sprays the parts with the company’s Armor-Tuff finish and thermally cures them.
