CCNY Libraries support the research and scholarship of the campus community. Across eight libraries, we serve the 16,000 students, 2,000 faculty, and 1,000 staff of The City College of New York.
Where are the CCNY libraries?
CCNY Libraries are in the following locations.
- Architecture Library, The Bernard and Ann Spitzer School of Architecture, Room 101.
- Archives & Special Collections, Cohen Library 5th Floor, North Academic Center (NAC)
- Center for Worker Education Library, City College Downtown Center, 25 Broadway.
How do I connect to CCNY WIFI?
We currently have two (2) Wi-Fi connections available:
- The “ccny-wifi” can only be accessed with CCNY email credentials (CCNY email username and password)
- As a guest at CCNY you are able to access the Wi-Fi by selecting “ccny-guest”.
- Your Name.
- Mobile Number.
- Mobile Carrier.
- Email Address.
Can CUNY students visit other CUNY schools?
Students currently enrolled at another CUNY college must file an E-Permit with their home college. Check the website of the home college for E-Permit application and procedures.
Can SUNY students use other SUNY libraries?
Eligible members of the University, with identification, may borrow unrestricted and available library materials from the library of any University campuses.
How do I connect to BMCC secured wifi?
Go to your phone settings and click on Wi-Fi.
- Select BMCC-Secured from the list of WiFi networks.
- Enter your BMCC Portal username and password then click “Join”.
- Click on “Trust” to connect to the network.
- After connecting successfully a blue check mark will be displayed next to the network name.

How do I access Queens College wifi?
To access your particular wireless network:
- Select the network associated with your affiliation (qc-faculty, qc-staff, qc-student, qc-student2, or qc-guest) and connect.
- Enter WEP Key (password) 12345.
- Open a web browser (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari)
- Queens College login screen will appear.
Can CUNY students use NYU library?
The New York Public Library, Columbia University, and New York University are piloting a lending program for faculty and graduate students. Cardholders from each institution, including CUNY faculty and graduate students, are invited to apply for borrowing privileges from all three research libraries through June 2012.
Can alumni use CUNY library?
The Library is now open to currently enrolled CUNY students, CUNY faculty/staff, and Alumni of The Graduate Center*.
Does BMCC have free WiFi?
BMCC provides Wi-Fi services for students, faculty, staff, and guests.
How do I connect my BMCC WiFi to my Mac?
Select BMCC–SECURED.
- Enter your BMCC user ID and password. Type your BMCC Portal user name (e.g firstname. lastname) and enter your password.
- Tap Trust.
- Your wireless connection is successful.
