Are earth boxes worth it?
The design is first rate and when you consider that you can grow for years in it, it’s well worth the price. For my first experience I grew 2 tomato plants in one EarthBox and I collected nearly as many tomatoes as several of my garden tomato plants.

How much soil does an EarthBox hold?
2.0 cubic feet
You’ll need 2.0 cubic feet (60 dry quarts) for each standard-size EarthBox® Original gardening system and EarthBox® Root & Veg™ gardening system; and 1.0 cubic foot for each EarthBox® Junior™ gardening system.

Can you reuse EarthBox soil?
Put a new mulch cover on your EarthBox and replant. You can use the same growing media up to 6-10 growing seasons, and the EarthBox for decades if taken care of properly!
How much is dolomite in EarthBox?
1 cup
Mix in 1 cup of Dolomite to the growing media. Based on the Planting Guide, pour 2 cups of dry, granular fertilizer (3 cups if using an organic fertilizer) in the form of a 2-inch-wide strip, burying it 2″-4″. Put a new mulch cover on your EarthBox and replant.
How does a wicking tub work?
The wicking bed is filled with water from the inlet pipe, to fill the water reservoir. When it is full, some water will flow out of the overflow outlet. The water will then wick upwards as high as it can to keep the soil damp.
