Not so: You can still play Tribes: Ascend, even though it’s delisted from Steam. It won’t show up in searches, but the Steam page is still there and you can add it to your library and download it.

- Extract the Tribes_Ascend_Parting_Gifts.
- When finished.
- Find TribesAscend.exe, create shortcut of it, select properties of shortcut.
- While in the TribesAscend – Shortcut Properties window find Target field.
- Add: -hostx=45.79.
Is Tribes Ascend still alive?
Essentially, yes, it’s more or less dead. More dead than most multiplayer games, but less dead than the decaying remains of Loadout. There are still some people playing it at pretty much all times, but the most players I’ve seen on at once was about 30 or so spread between four games.
