  1. On the Design bar, click the Basics tab.
  2. Click Roof > Roof by Extrusion.
  3. You will be prompted to pick a plane. Pick the plane that will show the gable end of the project.
  4. Using the line tool, sketch the profile of the roof.
  5. Set the properties of the roof before you finish the roof.
  6. Click Finish Roof.
