How do you reset a Yamaha PSR 9000?
PSR9000 Factory Reset Procedure
- Turn the PSR9000 power OFF.
- Press and hold down the [DEMO] button.
- While still holding down the [DEMO] button, turn ON the unit’s power. The screen will display ”SETUP is INITIALIZING’. This message will disappear after a few seconds and the screen will return to its default.

Does the PSR-9000 have OTS?
The PSR-9000 has OTS, but it is not compatible with the OTS used in the Tyros and PSR-2x models. Earlier PSR keyboards do not have OTS at all. These keyboards can not play these Tyros conversions with the OTS built into the style. Thanks to Graham, UK, who has both a Tyros and a 9000Pro, for providing the conversions here.
