How long does it take for caps and gowns to arrive?

Production turn-around times for graduation caps and gowns apply to all customers, and vary depending on the season. For most of the year, production time is usually around 3-4 weeks from order placement date to order shipping date.

Should I size up for cap and gown?

Know Your Size As a general rule of thumb, grad gowns should fit somewhat loosely so they hang over your body without restricting movement. Length-wise, your grad gown should fall eight to 10 inches from the ground so they cover everything but your feet and ankles.

How long does Herff Jones Cap and Gown take to ship?

Caps are not sized: We do not require a head measurement, only a gown size. If you have an unusually large head, write a note for us in the checkout area giving us your head measurement so that we can accomodate you!

What if your cap and gown is too big?

Use straight pins to temporarily adjust the gown for a better fit and use marking chalk or markers to show on the fabric where you will be hemming or adjusting the fit. For example, if the gown is too long, pin up the hem accordingly.
