Do I have to use an approved repairer?
Unless there is a specific clause in your insurance policy that states you must use one of their recommended repair shops you are free to go wherever you prefer. Most insurance policies DO NOT have this clause.
What is non approved repairer excess?
A non-approved repairer excess of £250 will be charged (in addition to any excesses shown on your Schedule of Motor Insurance) in the event that you do not use one of our approved garages for repair when you make a claim. When you make a claim we will provide you with a choice of our approved repairers.
What is a lifetime repair guarantee?
A lifetime repair guarantee makes your insurer responsible for faults in your car as a result of an accident. If you need to go back after a repair because the car still isn’t running properly, your insurer will cover the costs for any faulty materials and workmanship.
What happens if I don’t tell my insurance about modifications?
