What is Gedeo resin?

How to use gedeo latex?
Instructions for use Apply the latex with a brush on the object to be moulded. Take care to protect your brushes by coating them with dishwashing liquid. Allow the first layer to dry 10 minutes. Apply a second coat.
What is crystal resin used for?
Gedeo Crystal resin is a two component epoxy resin system (resin and hardener) has a high transparency and is non yellowing. It cures solid and perfectly imitates glass. It is used to mould decorative objects such as the bottom of platters, the decoration of surfaces and for jewellery.
What’s the difference between casting resin and epoxy resin?
The most obvious difference between the two is the intended use. Epoxy resins are meant for coating applications whereas casting resins are meant for casting applications such as molds, figurines, & jewelry. However, that is not to say that either would not work for their opposite intended uses, but more on that later.
Can I mix glitter in resin?
If you want your glitter to be evenly mixed throughout the resin, you need to not use a “heavy” glitter. Instead opt for a fine, micro-glitter like Stampendous micro-glitter or something similar. Many experienced crafters also recommend that you wait before adding glitter to the resin.
Can you mix plaster with resin?
The aim is to soak the porous plaster in synthetic resin. The plaster must be dry. When the resin is set the plaster becomes waterproof, impervious, strong, and hard. The resin becomes part of the body of the plaster and, unlike paint, adds no coating to the surface that might obscure detail.
What is resin plaster used for?

Can you use resin as a glaze?
Pebeo Gedeo Resins are easy to use, you only have to mix two parts resin with one part hardener. Then either pour the resin over an item to coat it (Glazing Resin) or pour it into a mould to make a jewel-like casting (Casting Resin).
