What happened to KUGR?

In 1976, KUGR brought rock band Heart to Pullman to perform live in studio. In 2014, the KUGR Board of Directors invested in brand new broadcast equipment to keep the station running smoothly and created a new logo to help the station rebrand.

When did KUGR become rock?

In the mid-1970s, we gained a FM signal and became the only rock and roll station on the Palouse as KUGR 95.1 Rock. Today, you can hear student created content from morning tonight live on kugr.org.
