The measuring principle is based on eccentric photo-retinoscopy.

How does the plusoptix S09 work?

The plusOptiX S09 offers screening software for use with infants as young as 6 months to detect the risk of developing amblyopia. Referral criteria are entered for different age groups and parameters. The software automatically compares measurement results with referral criteria and provides a “Pass” or “Refer” result.
