What is Praxis at home solution?
The Praxis ® tests at home are a safe and convenient option for test takers who live in the United States, its territories* or in Canada. They’re identical to tests taken at a test center, and are taken on your own computer at home or another secure location.
Do I need to download ProctorU for Praxis?
You will need to download and install the ETS ® Test Browser on the computer you will use for the test. To fully install the browser, you must run the file after downloading it. Next, check your equipment by running the ProctorU ® system check. On-screen: [ETS ® PRAXIS ® Software and System Check.
Is the At Home Praxis proctored?
Your entire test session will be recorded by ProctorU ® and monitored by a human proctor, and your photo will be taken.
How do I view my Praxis at home?
Browser Download and Equipment Check
- Download and install the ETS Secure Test Browser on the computer you’ll use to test.
- Run the ProctorU Equipment Check from the computer you’ll use to test.
- Computer firewalls and security applications can interfere with the test delivery software.
Can I use scratch paper on Praxis at home?
You may not bring your own scratch paper to the test or remove scratch paper from the testing room. (For paper-delivered tests administered as an accommodation for a disability, you may use the test book for scratch work. Scratch paper isn’t provided except as an approved accommodation.)
What happens if I don’t show up to my Praxis test?
If you are absent from the test, you automatically forfeit all test fees.
How long are Praxis scores good for?
10 years
Your Praxis test scores are valid for 10 years, and you can order additional score reports at any point during that period.
What should I wear to the Praxis?
Masks and Gloves If you come to the test center without a mask, you’ll be turned away. The center or local policy determines if you’re required to wear it the entire time at the test center. If they don’t require it, you can choose to wear it during testing. Medical masks and cloth face coverings are acceptable.
What happens if you cheat on the Praxis?
If you fail to comply with the test administration regulations or the test administrator or supervisor’s directions, ETS reserves the right to bar you from future testing and cancel your scores. If ETS cancels your scores, they will not be reported and your registration and test fees will not be refunded.
Can I use a calculator on the Praxis?
Graphing, scientific and four-function calculators are permitted or are provided for some Praxis ® tests. Unless it is specifically stated that a calculator is permitted for a particular test, calculators may not be used. Test takers are not permitted to share calculators.
