What is the difference between Nixplay frames?
The Nixplay Originals are big frames and has USB/SD Card ports as an alternate source for playing photos and for playing videos. The Nixplay Edge also has USB/SD Card ports but the 13″ frame is the frame that has the highest quality resolution among our frames. The Nixplay Seed frames are completely WiFi frames.

Are Nix and Nixplay the same?
NIX frames are not Wi-Fi compatible, but they support plug-and-play from a USB device or an SD/SDHC memory card. Nixplay Smart Photo Frames are designed for the easy sharing of photos and videos memories securely and privately, especially between friends and families at a distance from each other.
Do I need a membership for Nixplay?
A: You do not need to get a subscription to use Nixplay frames. All Nixplay frames come with free 10 GB of Nixplay cloud storage in addition to the 8 GB storage on Nixplay frames.
How many photos does a Nixplay frame hold?
In the Nixplay Cloud, you get 10GB of storage as part of the Standard Account. At any given time, the frame itself can play and hold up to 8GB of content on the frame. Depending on the quality and resolution of your photos, this means several thousand.
How do I add photos to Nixplay?
Using the web app to add photos on your Nixplay Frame:
- Log in to your Nixplay account (www.nixplay.com)
- Go to the Photos tab.
- Select Playlist.
- Select the Playlist that is enabled on your Frame (My Playlist)
- Select the Add photos.
- Select which from the source options.
- Select the photo(s)
- And add to playlist.
Is the Nixplay app free?
Every Nixplay Frame comes with a standard free plan. This gives you 10GB of storage on the Nixplay Cloud.
Will Nixplay work without WiFi?

How do I send photos to someone else’s Nixplay?
How to send photos to friends using the Mobile app:
- Log in to your Nixplay account on the app and select “Me and choose Friends.
- Choose Friends.
- Find your tap on your friend’s name.
- Tap on Send Photos.
- Choose Photo Gallery/Camera Roll.
- Tap on photos you want to send and they will have blue check marks then hit Done/Add.
