there’s a natural harmonic node where the 24th fret is normally placed… I think that 21 is plenty for most players. My USA Strat has 22 but I have never come close to using the 22nd fret even once. A 24 fret neck will not fit on a strat body with a neck pick-up unless you are having a neck custom made.
