  • GNU/Linux: ~/. minecraft/resourcepacks (This folder may be hidden in the Home folder)
  • macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks (This folder may be hidden)

    • How do I add resource packs?

    First,download the pack from the addon page. Make sure Minecraft is not open when you do this.

  • Next press ⊞+R (windows+r)
  • Enter %appdata%\\.minecraft\\resourcepacks
  • Drag or paste the .zip file into the resourcepacks folder.
  • Some resource packs will not need this,but for the official Faithful download at least,unzip it and go into the folder
  • Delete .gitignore and .DS_Store if either of them are inside of it
