Who owns RAC Club?
In September 1999 members sold RAC Motoring Services to Lex Service plc, who renamed themselves RAC plc in 2002. RAC plc was then acquired by Aviva plc in March 2005 for around £1.1 billion.
Is the RAC Club men only?
Full Membership is open to adults (aged 18 or over) and Junior Membership is available to the children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews of Full Members.
How do I join the RAC Club?
Our preferred process is for applicants to apply online and be proposed and seconded by two existing Full Members, who have been members of the Club for at least a year. However, if you do not know two existing members, please contact our Membership Team who will be able to assist you.
