Personal life. She has a degree in finance and economics, and is a Data Scientist in Residence at the University of Toronto. Her brother, John Chayka, served as general manager for the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League from 2016 to 2020.

How did Chayka come up with Stathletes?
While movies like Moneyball may have glamourized the application of analytics in sports, Chayka was already ahead of the game when she co-founded Stathletes in 2010 with her business partner Neil Lane.
